Copping the wettest summer in these regions in 70 years, the September ShoMerde get down was certainly down with the weather. The Embassy was packed with sweaty, rain drenched bodies celebrating multiple Virgo birthday recipients, Nik and Shannon, with multiple shots of lord knows what, while a bizarre rotunda of still images, courtesy of slide digger Joe Dias, entertained the back end party people . The three man platter crew kept the proceedings bubbling as always , with double shifts of audio madness from NunoGee (pt 1 and 4) and FamousLee (pt.2 and 4) and some crate classics a la Cinq55,(pt.3) Next ShoMerde live - October 11.
A weekend of torrential rain, and multiple points of water leakage did not douse the spirits of the ShoMerde boys and girls and whatnaut. When the needle dropped, a joint banging session was off and running as FamousLee unpacked an hour plus sack of goodies with appropriate platter bless . Second in the relay was Kaewonder keeping it lovely with some soulful pops and off the shore rarities. Into the curve, NunoGee took the baton, with some UK summer fun madness. Yep, that’s what you thought you heard
